Overview
The Level 7 Award, Certificate, or Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring is a 6 day training programme, spaced over 3 months, designed to equip practising senior leaders and managers or those working in a learning and development role with the knowledge, skills and confidence to perform effectively as coaches and mentors as part of their normal work role; and in addition to equip them to possibly move into a developmental role within their organisation or to freelance as an executive coach or leadership mentor.
Participant Profile
This workshop is ideal for practising senior leaders and managers, or learning and development specialists, who have a genuine interest in coaching and mentoring and developing others. The CMI programme does not require evidence of formal hours of coaching. The ILM Certificate programme requires 20 hours of practical coaching and mentoring. The ILM Diploma covers the same material and assignments for the Certificate, but requires 100 hours of practical coaching and mentoring. The ILM Diploma is, therefore, best suited to those people for whom coaching and mentoring forms a very significant part of their regular activity.
Programme Aim
The programme aims to add value to the individual and the organisation. For the individual, the programme aims to increase personal effectiveness as a coach, mentor, role model and leader. For the organisation, the programme aims to create a confident, effective and highly qualified executive coach and mentor that will enable the organisation to develop the talent and potential of their existing and future leaders and senior managers.
