Brief background
Worthlearning, established in 1994, is a leading edge provider of Leadership & Management, and Coaching & Mentoring training – specialising in helping leaders and managers to develop a coaching style of leadership.
At Worthlearning we have an absolute passion for what we do. This passion is underpinned by our extensive experience in executive coaching and training leaders and managers to help them to develop simple, practical tools that get results in a busy workplace environment. We have made a massive difference to thousands of managers – in particular their ability to cope with the increasing stresses of constant change, and the demand of continually delivering improvements to the bottom-line of their organisations.
We developed our award winning ‘Manager as Coach’ programme back in 2001 and have spent over 14 years learning what managers and leaders actually need and fine tuning our training programmes and coaching sessions to meet those specific needs.
In 2002 we developed the highly acclaimed OSCAR Coaching Model and in 2004 we won a National Training Award for our leadership and coaching programme using the OSCAR methodology.
Karen Whittleworth and Andrew Gilbert, Directors, are authors of a number of books on coaching and mentoring that are endorsed and recommended by ILM. Our best selling book – “The OSCAR Coaching Model: Simplifying Workplace Coaching” can be read in under two hours and is a great starting point for those interested in a basic understanding of the power of coaching and mentoring – and how to do it! Our new book, “Manager as Coach: The New Way to Get Results” published by McGraw Hill was shortlisted for 2014 Management Book of the Year.
We are an approved ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accredited to deliver the following qualifications: Coaching and Mentoring (Levels 3, 5 and 7) ; Coaching Supervision (Level 7) ; Leadership and Management (Levels 2, 3, 5 and 7).
As a National Training Award Winner, IIP Gold, and an ILM Approved Centre, our clients have the security of knowing that working with Worthlearning will always provide them with a quality experience, professional expertise and constant innovation.
